Alice Virginia Robinson, formally of Erie, PA passed away peacefully on August 10th, 2021 in Columbus, GA at the age of 90 years old. Alice was born on January 17 ^th , 1931 to the late Willie Anderson and Willie Mae Fields-Gunn in Olustee, Florida. She was raised in New Orleans, LA and later relocated to Erie, PA. She received an education from Booker T. Washington High in New Orleans, LA.

She married her longtime friend and love, Wesley Robinson who preceded her in death in 1995. Alice was a loving and devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with friends and family. She was a JFK golden age club member and enjoyed participating in senior JFK activities. During her later years, she enjoyed being a homemaker, working in her garden planting flowers, and watching her favorite television shows. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Second Baptist Church for over 50 years.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wesley Robinson, and her brother John L. Warren.

Alice leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Dale W. Robinson of Erie, PA and two daughters, Bernice Shorter (Courtney) of Columbus, GA, and Evelyn Anderson (Edward) of St. Matthews, SC. She also leaves behind grandchildren and great grandchildren to include Shonta Dicks, Mecole Ledbetter (Tyson), Daniel Beard, Aaron Jackson, Linda Jackson, Charles Jackson, Turiq Clark, Jaylon Pugh, Miana Clark, Myriah I., Zarion Clark , Jada I., Deshont Dicks, and approximately 38 more grandchildren. Four nephews: Tony Warren, Andre Bridgett (Sarah), William Whren, and Michael Whren. Two cousins: Crystal Pearson and Opal Tyle. A dear sister-in-law, Janet Haigler, and a host of dear friends. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Alice V. Robinson on Saturday, August 21, 2021, with visitation hours between 10:00 a.m. — 12 noon and homegoing services to follow at 12noon with Pastor Darrell Craig eulogizing.. Homegoing services will be held at Pitts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2926 Pine Ave, Erie Pennsylvania 16504. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Erie, PA.
