With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Andre Lindsey Jr., affectionately known as "Lil Dre," who departed this life on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Born on October 29, 1985, Andre was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a graduate of the Aliquippa Sr. High class of 2005. Andre was a true family man whose love for those around him knew no bounds. Andre had a warm spirit, a welcoming smile, and a kind heart that touched everyone he encountered.

Andre was known for being a people person. He genuinely loved everyone and never hesitated to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. His gentle soul, infectious smile, and compassionate nature made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved watching sports, especially cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Pirates.

Andre was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Mary Emma Lindsey Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Levi and Hattie Mae Massey; his aunt, Katrice Massey; and his uncle, Frank Green Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his precious daughter, Dre'Lyn Lindsey, who was truly his pride and joy; his loving parents, Andre and Frances Lindsey Sr.; his beloved sisters, Tamia Green, Katrina Mills, Alita Lindsey, Andrea Lindsey, Antraqura Lindsey and Thai-Janelle Smith; his brother, Anthony (London) Lindsey; and his brother-in-law, Michael Mills.

Andre also leaves a large and loving extended family including Uncles and Aunts; Zandy (Sylvester) Ellis,  Rhonda Green, Theresa McLeod, George (Gwen) Lindsey Sr.,  Arenetha Lindsey, Barbara King, Sandra (Al) Graham, Dwight Lindsey, Michael (Margaret) Lindsey, Tiny Spencer, Willie Hill, Leon Massey, Beverly Head, Chris Pitts, Terrance Alford, and Charon Gist.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, Candice Gilmore, the devoted mother of his daughter; Dre'Lynn Lindsey and his special nieces; Sabria McLeod, MychaMills and Ka'nya Mcleod

He further leaves his devoted best friend and brother at heart, Ben Tigner, along with a host of cousins, relatives, and friends. Among those who will forever cherish his memory are Demetrius, Dottie, Iac, Tim, Catrice, Janika, Tia, Trecardi, Jerriel, Jason, The Cain brothers, Rich, Rich Jr., Dana, Nett, and countless others whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Andre's memory will live on through the love he shared, the friendships he built, and the lasting impact he made on everyone blessed to know him. Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, his smile, laughter, and big heart will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
