Annjeannette Manus-Dixon-McGhee 1970-2022

WARREN: Annjeannette McGhee, 52, loving mother, wife and beloved daughter and sister, journeyed peacefully from this earth on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022. Her husband, Chris McGhee, and her daughter, Martinique Dixon, were by her side in her last moments.

Born in Meadville, Pa., on January 7, 1970, the daughter of surviving parents, Carol Jean Wood and Albert Hughes Sr., she was a 1988 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School.

Angie traveled all over the country in the healthcare field, caring for others. While continuing her education in nursing, she settled in Canton.

Family members who mourn the loss of this vibrant angel are siblings, Tawnya (Kenny) Williams, Ingrid (Gary) York, Donyale Hughes, Charles H. Wood III, Jordonna Wood, Christina Wood, Christopher Wood, Amber Wood and Erica Wood; stepson, Caelan McGhee; her many nieces and nephews; and her Hughes' siblings. She also leaves uncles, Paul (Dexter) Manus, Vincent (Peddy) Manus, Cary (Pete) Manus and Sheldon (Mike) Manus; godmother, Alex (Linda) Fenton, Niccala Turner, Nefertiti Turner, Emily (Sterling) Caler, Janean Jefferies and a myriad of cousins.

Angie joins Grandmother Mary Jean Manus, Great-Aunt Harriett Manning, Aunt MeMe, Uncle Dennis Manus, Stepfather Charles Homer Wood Jr, and beloved family friend, Sharon Boyd.

Our cherished sister will always be remembered. On pouring of love, respect, and condolences from hometown friends for our bright star with the beautiful aura.

Devoted to caring for others, Angie made it her mission to take care of those with special needs and a phenomenal caretaker for her nephew, D'Ante York.
