The Obituary

Anthony Johnson Jr, affectionately called "AJ", was born on January 13,1989, in Sewickley Valley Hospital to Anthony Johnson Sr. and Tracy Thomas.

Anthony was a graduate of Aliquippa High School in 2007. AJ attended Summit Academy where he played fullback and linebacker and was a key player and lettered for 2 years.

Anthony acquired a Certification in Air Conditioning Repair; he was also an entrepreneur and Co-Owner of Build a Burger located at Beaver Valley Mall.

Anthony loved spending quality time with his loved ones. He loved to fish, amusement parks, old school cars, music, traveling with his family and visiting the casino. Anthony departed this earth unexpectedly on January 20, 2024.

Left to cherish his memories are his two sons; Anthony "Diggy" Johnson III and Ajae Johnson, his beautiful daughter Nyani Johnson, sibling's, Caleb (Kim) Thompson, of Altoona, PA, LaQuandra Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA, Joi Johnson of Aliquippa, PA, his baby brother TreQuan Thomas, of Pittsburgh, PA, aunts and uncle, Shawn (Patricia) Thomas, Salena McGee, Nichole McGee, Marlene McGee and McKinnley McGee, grandmother Marlene McGee of Pittsburgh, PA, grandfather Wayne Herring of North Braddock, PA, his significant other, Nihla Davis along with her children, (Nyliah Cobb and Nimar Davis)  who he loved as his own and a host of nieces and nephews; Nate, Psalms, Amir, Israel, Isiah, Zion, Messiah, Nazerae, Luna, Lyric and Lynnix.

Proceeding him in death are his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Bernice Johnson Sr, his (paternal) Aunt, Charlene Johnson, (paternal) Uncle, Melvin "J Boy" Johnson, (paternal) Uncle, Charlie (Cool- Lip ) Johnson, (paternal) Uncle, Cornelius Johnson, (paternal) Uncle, Red Johnson, (paternal) Aunt, Denise Johnson and (maternal) Uncle, John McGee.
