Assonia Louise Underwood 55, of Ambridge PA passed away on Monday January 3 2022, at Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital, Sewickley, PA. Assonia was a loving partner, mother and grandmother.

She was born in Sewickley, PA on April 10, 1966 to the late Willie Ware and Elizabeth Carol Underwood; grandmother Elizabeth Underwood.

Assonia enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, watching her favorite scary movies and listening to music. Assonia's greatest blessing was her children and grandchildren; she enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She and her sister Sherita were very close and  they spent their weekends shopping in Pittsburgh, which was a tradition since they were kids.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth Carol Underwood and Willie Ware; grandmother Elizabeth Underwood and grandfather Mack Underwood Sr.

She is survived by her loving husband William Lafayette Jeter; children Lafayette Underwood (Kelly)  of New Brighton PA and William Underwood of Ambridge PA; Grandchildren Amaya Underwood and Layfayette Underwood Jr.;  her Uncle James Underwood (Judy);  sister Sherita Underwood  of Aliquippa PA; cousin Tina Underwood of Beaver Falls, PA and other family and relatives
