Bryan Anthony Torain, age 57, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at his residence. He was
born in Erie, PA on April 7, 1965, the son of Johnnie David Barnes, Jr. and Doris Marie Torain.

Bryan was a lifelong resident of Erie and graduated from Academy High School in 1985. After
graduation Bryan worked at Car Guard and later, as a janitor for Gannon University. Besides his
family and friends, Bryan loved the Raiders, The Godfather trilogy and all things trivia.

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents Eddie Stephen Torain, Sr.,
Geneva (Robinson) Torain Moyer, Johnnie D. Barnes, Sr. and Jeanetta Mae (Neal) Barnes.

Left to cherish his memory from his maternal side, Eddie "E.J", Ericka, Tameca and Jerred Torain, all
of Erie. He also leaves 4 brothers, Johnnie Barnes III, JaJuan Stevens, Javar Beason all of Erie,
Damon Harden (N.C.) and 5 sisters, Charlene Carr, Angie Stevens, Elonda, Elaine and Jalena
Barnes of Erie, 3 paternal uncles, Michael, George and Keith Barnes a special niece, Brittnie
Cosby as well a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing is scheduled Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 4 – 6 p.m. with a service immediately
following at Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, Erie, PA 16508.
