RAVENNA, OHIO ~ Carol Jean Wood, otherwise known as, Ma, Grandma, and Ms. Carol, born January 3 ^rd , 1949, left this earthly realm on February 22, 2023, and journeyed to the stars to be with her angelic loved ones.

There are a lot of us, so here we go. These are the loved ones her life has affected.

Big momma to: Tawnya, Ingrid (Mookie), Donyale (Yelle), Charles III, Jordonna (Jorge), Christopher, Christina (Beania), Amber, and Erica.

Celebrating her life as a loving big sister to: Paul (Dexter), Vincent (Peddy), Cary (Pete), Sheldon (Michael), and their spouses.

Loving aunt, niece, cousin, and sister-in-law to: Luther (Uncle Sonny & Connie) Manus, Jill, Carin, Wade, Gate, JJ, Debbie, Edgar & Hortense, Kim, Bridget, Courtney, Janet, Kevin & Lisa, Ellaree, Niccala, Nefertiti, Santina, Darius, Emily & Sterling, Brenda & Vatimah, and Mary Pringle Wood.

Grandma to first gen grandkids: Brian, Brittany, Brianna, Bre'Asia, Chanel, Chardasha, Sydney, D'Ante (Dodi), Martinique, Nene, Lil-Chris, Darius, Dwight, Nicco, Eric, Jakadis, Christaun, Devon, Mela, Dehaven, Nicholi, and Chompers.

Second wave: Amira, Giovonni, Royal'Jay, Payton, Bella, Chris Jr, Xey, Ryan, and Bella.

Ms. Carol lovingly and generously stepped in as a guardian angel and best friend to all who knew her: Arisa &Tommy, Lisa Lewis, Keri, and Alana. Alex (Linda), Jonathon (Boo), Courtney, Lynn Letson, Johnny Osbourne, Carrie & Nelson, Mary Pringle Wood, Robin & Daryl, Nicole Brogden, and the Fultons.

Carol gathered her recipes and went home to meet in Mary J. Manus' kitchen with Annjeannette, Charles Jr, Luther (Denny), Ethel (Aunt MeMe), Cousin Sybil, Aunt Hazel, Ma Sara, Sharon Boyd, Donnie, Joey, Harriet Manning, Jessie, Uncle Arthur Green, Charles Sr & Geneva Wood, Lisa Kinney, Edward Leroy Samuels, Sadie, Justine, Nick, Laura, and Santine.

This precious angel on earth will be sorely missed and remembered by a ton of people, family, and friends. She will never be forgotten and will forever be in the hearts of hometown friends across Erie, Meadville, Warren, and Ravenna.
