Catherine D. Smith passed away, on Friday, May 7, 2021 surrounded by family.

Born April 5, 1971, Catherine was the daughter of the late Lula Mae (Jeter) Carl Kirkpatrick and living Marlin Cobb.

Catherine obtained an extensive educational background. She graduated with a Bachelors of Political Science degree from Point Park University and also obtained a Bachelors degree in Legal studies and an Associates degree in Paralegal Legalized Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.  Catherine wore many professional hats such as Tax preparer, Notary Public, and Signing Agent.

Before her transition she was employed at Carnegie Mellon University as an Administrative Coordinator.

Catherine, a Loyal Steelers fan she was exceptionally gifted and enjoyed world traveling, knitting, fishing and bike riding in her past time.

Catherine leaves to cherish her memory, special friend John Jayson (Annapolis, Maryland); former spouse, whom she shares 4 amazing children with Ralph James Smith Jr.; Monte Lamar Smith, Chazmin Lavae Smith, Jevon James Smith and Jevar James Smith. Along with 8 children she called her own. One living God-Daughter Xia Doster; 5 beautiful sisters - Amber Ward of (Beaver Falls, PA), Margo Nelson ( Fort Lauderdale, Florida), Crystal Morse of (Kissimmee Florida ), Yasmir Mathis of (Atlanta Georgia), and Kennon Jeter of (Laurel, Maryland); four loving brothers -  Sandy Kirkpatrick of (San Francisco, CA) Carl Woodward of (Mesa, Arizona) Carl Kirkpatrick Jr of ( Beaver Falls, PA), and Michael Jeter of (Ambridge, PA); a host of aunties, a host of 25 nieces and nephews, and 6 grandbabies -  Nahvier Jones, Mytae Smith, Maejor Smith, Keola Smith, J' mier Dixon, and Naomi Newsome.

Friends may visit with the family at New Holy Temple COGIC, 148 4 ^th Avenue, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 11 am to 12 pm, where a celebration of life will immediately follow, with Pastor J. Mike eulogizing. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home, 920 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
