Obituary

Charles Glover, 85, of Aliquippa, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2025. He was the son of the late Geneva Glover and Willie Lee Glover of Americus, Georgia.

Charles was born on March 5, 1939, in Americus, Georgia. He attended Aliquippa schools.

During his younger years, Charles held various job positions, including at Aliquippa Hospital, "the car wash," and J&L Steel (Aliquippa).  He also worked 30 years at General Motors in Lansing, Michigan.

Charles was a member of Christian Lighthouse Ministries, Aliquippa, PA.

Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Barbara.    Charles's surviving children are Lee (Beaver Falls), Stacy, Charmaine (Ambridge) Connie (Ohio) and Timmy (Lansing, Michigan). Deceased children: Carlos (Aliquippa), Charles Jr (Virginia Beach, Virginia), and Terry (Lansing, Michigan)

A host of surviving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He maintained communication and extended much love to special nephew, Mark (New York) and niece Joy (Texas).

Charles maintained a strong, loving bond with his cousins, Eddie Young, the entire Young family (Oberlin, Ohio), and Jean Hill (Aliquippa).

Extraordinary and lifelong friends, Marshall Artist, Bill Payne, James Henry, Mike Johnson, all of UAW #602 "the shop crew" at General Motors in Lansing, Michigan plus "Bra the Barber" (Lansing, Michigan).

Charles enjoyed spending time at "Bert's Barber Shop" in Aliquippa with friends John, Bert, and TB.

The Glover's would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Liberty Dialysis Hopewell. They did an excellent job of caring for Charles.

Friends will be received on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. Bethel Baptist Church 410 Wykes St., Aliquippa, PA  15001.   A Homegoing service will begin at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa
