Christopher H. Williams Jr., 84, of Erie, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 15, 1941, in Collins, Mississippi, to the late Christopher and Ruth (Smith) Williams.

Christopher was a former member of First Born Apostolic Faith Church of God. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, cooking, and watching westerns.

He was our patriarch—the first son and the last in that generation to close his eyes. Our Dad was a kind, gentle, and private man who was loved and respected by many. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Throughout his life, Christopher worked various jobs, including at General Motors, Kaiser Aluminum, and Wilco Disposal. Up until his passing, he owned and operated Williams Pallets with pride and dedication.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Lauretta Tate Williams; a son, Andre Owens; two daughters, Sheila and LaVonna Meredith; two grandson, Steven Arrington and Rshawn Bibbs; his great-grandson, Jaylen Rigger Williams; his brothers Henry "Pee Wee" Williams, Billy Ray Williams, and Jackie Williams; his sisters (including an infant sister), Doris Johnson and Neda Faye Williams; and his nephew, William Ettison.

He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends and family who were like his brothers: Ed Pou, Tommie Stovall, Allen Powell, and Tommie Styles.

His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
