Clinton Dunn, 85, of Erie, PA, departed this life on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Western Reserve Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 18, 1934, in Augusta, GA, to the late Claude and Mary Alice (Smith) Dunn.

Clinton was a resident of Erie, Pa. for sixty three years. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Veterans Administration Hospital as a lab technician after thirty-five and a half years of service. Clinton also worked at Plastek Group for seven years and Bush Industries for two years.
He was a die hard Cleveland Browns fan, who also enjoyed attending the Cleveland Indians games from time to time. Clinton enjoyed traveling and taking trips with his children and grandchildren. He was also an amazing paratrooper. Clinton loved his down home soul music and enjoyed a good tune to dance to! He loved going to the downs to watch the horses.

In addition to his parents, Clinton was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Birdie Mae Dunn; his oldest daughter, Joyce (Dunn) Jordan; two sisters, Matti R. Gowdy, and Mary Lois Jordan; and a cousin Tommy Dorsey.

Clinton leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Dorris "Jump" O'Neal (Terena) of Erie, and Clinton "Wayne " Dunn (Stacy) of Marietta, GA; five daughters, Beverly Cajuste(Tommy) of Erie, Brenda Woodard (Dave) of Erie, Jackie Dunn of Erie, Yolanda Dunn(Orean) of Marietta, GA, and DeMitta Moore of Erie; two brothers, John C. Dunn, and Hardin Dunn of Augusta GA; two sisters, Mary Louise Holmes of Augusta GA, and Shirley Jones Epps of Erie; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Young of Detroit, MI; a devoted granddaughter, Markeia Marshall of Erie; twenty-two grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins; and a close family friend, Marcus Marshall of Jackson, TN.

Friends may visit with the family at Second Baptist Church, 757 East 26th Street, on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 10 am to 12 pm, where a service will immediately follow, with Rev. Darrold A. Hobson eulogizing and Rev. Lamont Higginbottom Sr. officiating. Interment will be at Erie Cemetery. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Avenue, Erie, PA 16504.
