Coyt Len Palmer, Sr., 55 of Houston, Texas was a smart, handsome, and loving person. He was born on January 17, 1967 at Rochester Hospital in Rochester, Pennsylvania to Dolly I. Palmer and Delvert William Palmer, Sr. Coyt attended the Rochester Area School District (K-12) where he excelled academically. He participated in various sports and organizations as well as the marching and concert band. Succeeding high school, Coyt attended Penn State University on an academic scholarship where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and his MBA. He also obtained a Master's in Project Management from George Washington University. Throughout his academic career, he was consistently involved in various activities and societies, including track and field, and remained on the Dean's List.

Coyt's career led him to Houston TX, where he was a project manager for FMC Technologies. For more than 15 years he orchestrated million dollar contracts for various oil companies in the United States and abroad. After falling into bad health his audacious spirit was still present, his will to survive was evident, and his understanding spirit remained. He was respected and made sure to teach his son everything he knew.

Coyt was preceded in death by his mother, Dolly I. Palmer, father, Delvert William Palmer, Sr., and brother, Tyrone Dhameer Bilal. Left to cherish his memories is his son, Coyt Palmer, Jr., brother Delvert William Palmer, Jr., sister Sherry Palmer – Beauford, foster brother Melvin Leon Fisher III, nieces Sheryl and Brittini Palmer, dedicated friend Gloria Brown, and a host of great nieces, nephews, supportive friends, and loving relatives.

Coyt was a man of faith and loved attending family reunions and sporting events. Coyt, a loyal and proud Pittsburgh Steelers fan, had a kind heart, and believed strongly in helping others. His supportive nature will always be cherished. A man of integrity now flies with the angels, walks with his parents, and rests with God.
