Elder Craydeen Townsend of Aliquippa, PA, went home to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by family and friends.

Craydeen was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country. He also was ordained an Elder in the Church of God in Christ under the late Bishop Melvin E. Clark, Sr. He served on the Elder's Board, Hospital Visitation Team and was an Adjutant and served with excellence as a member of the Church in the Round.

Craydeen was preceded in death by his parents mother, Juanita Townsend Taft, father Craydeen Townsend Sr, and also a stepfather Leander Taft., sisters Elizabeth Townsend and Thelma Townsend Bridges.

He leaves behind his loving wife Janice Townsend, his children Craydeen Townsend III (Kim Boylton) of Minneapolis, MN, Adrian (IIyasah Nikkai) Williams of Florida, Candince Blackwell (Wesley) Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA. Javonna Toodles of East Liverpool, OH,; three brothers who loved him dearly; Deforester (Glori) Townsend of Ambridge, PA, Terry (Cecilia) Townsend of Pittsburgh, PA, and Richard Townsend of Aliquippa, PA. Grandchildren; Deonna (Trent) Williams, Adrianna (Thomas) Cephas Jr., Eric Williams, and Devin Blackwell. Great grandchildren; Deon Williams, Adrien Williams, Alexander Mitchell, Aric Williams, Nina Mitchell, Aubree Brown, Gracee Brown, Trenton Brown Jr., Molly Cephas, Tianna Cephas, Thomas Cephas III and Kristina Cephas.  A special friend Von Kittrell of Killen, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all loved him dearly.
