CRYSTAL LYNN MCCOY "KiKi"

Crystal Lynn McCoy, "KiKi" 45, of Erie, PA, fell asleep in the arms of her King, Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, December 30, 2024. She was born on April19, 1979, in Erie, Pennsylvania to Willie James McCoy and Clinteria Moore.

Crystal graduated from Central Tech High School, Class of 1997, where she was introduced to the field of Cosmetology. She was employed at LECOM Senior Living Center for 20-plus years as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), where she exhibited love, kindness, and compassion towards the residents. She worked at OB/GYN and Associates as a Medical Assistant for a short period.

Crystal believed in the gospel of Jesus Christ and wasn't afraid to tell everybody. Although she wasn't an official member, she frequently visited Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church. In addition, she virtually attended 2819 Church of Atlanta, GA, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell.

Crystal was an avid Cleveland Browns Fan and collector of Elephants. She was a God-fearing woman and didn't play about her God or her children, grandchildren, and mother from whom she adopted the nickname "KiKi." She enjoyed reading her bible. Two of her favorite chapters were Psalms 23 and 91. She also enjoyed listening to all genres of music, gardening, house cleaning, riding around the scenic views of Presque Isle State Park while sipping on her favorite drink (Cherry Pepsi), traveling, singing, watching movies such as The Fifth Element, The Dark Crystal, and Something New, and spending time with family. She was the Queen of camouflage and cheetah prints. She was coined the nickname, "The Black Italian Girl" because of her love for pasta, especially spaghetti (seven days a week). One of her greatest enjoyments was going on dates with her beloved mother.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wallace Jimenson and Ida Mcaa, and her maternal grandparents, Crafton and Clinteria Moore, and stepfather , Larry Loper.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her father, Willie James McCoy; mother, Clinteria Moore; her squad; her girls; her world, Queshay Blanks, Diamond McCoy, and Lyndrea McCoy. Her only son, the apple of her eyes, Christian McCoy, all of Erie; dear and special to her heart, her KiKi squad, Knowledge Blanks, Kahvari McKinzie, Jr., Nature Blanks, Halo Moffett McCoy, A'million McCoy, and Journey Blanks; her extended squad; two siblings Shantae (Shannon) McCoy-Gaines and William "Crow" McCoy, all of Erie, PA; and a host of family, and friends.

Friends may visit with the family at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2624 German Street, Erie, PA 16504, on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, where a celebration of life will immediately follow with Pastor Colin G.
