Curtis Fraser Gaffney, 70 of Aliquippa, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the Heritage Valley Medical Center.

He was born August 13, 1955 in Newport News, Virginia to the Late Willie and Elizabeth Gaffney.  Curtis was a 1973 Aliquippa High School graduate where he played in the band as a lead drummer.  After graduating he enlisted in the United States Army as an Army Specialist E-4 from 1974-1977.  After  leaving the Army, he worked in J&L Steel in the Welding Department until it closed down, then worked at Hussey Copper, then he worked at Phoenix Glass, and US Gypsum Plant as a Fork Lift driver and was promoted to a Supervisor prior to retiring.  He then volunteered at the Beaver County United Community Service where he served as a Senior member .

Curtis was a member of Deliverance Temple Church of God and Christ under the leadership of Bishop Marvin C Moreland where he served as a Trustee, Usher, was on the  Mens Board,  and a member of the Choir.  He enjoyed traveling with his Bishop, grilling and anything he could do for his church.  Curtis was known for his laughter, telling jokes and just having a good time praising the Lord!  Curtis would greet everyone with a smile and something positive to say.  He was a big fan of the Aliquippa Quips, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia 76ers basketball team.

He loved spending time with his lovely wife Mary of 33 years; where they enjoyed fishing, vacationing, shopping, and cooking in the kitchen.

In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his brothers Willie Gaffney, Duncan Gaffney, and James Spencer; 3 sisters Lee Norris Gaffney-Willis, Zinana Gaffney-Adamson, and Connie Gaffney; niece Tina Underwood-Rivera, and his pet dog Max who he loved dearly..

He leaves to cherish his lovely wife, Mary of 33 years, 4 sons Malik (Tiara) Gaffney of Beaver, Pa., Jason (Joy) Anderson of Coraopolis, PA, David (Nancy) Anderson of Charleroi, PA and Anthony Anderson of Warren, Ohio; 2 daughters Gjuan and Monica of Delaware and Erica Thomas of Beaver Falls, Pa; 4 sisters Virgie and Gene Saunders, Margaret and James, Dellarae and Kenny Lindsey, of   Aliquippa, PA and Gloria and George Hill  of Charleston, W. VA.  Grandchildren; Rha'ben, Riley and Channing Thomas, Malik, Jr and Matteo Gaffney, Shumura, Mari, Elexis, Najee, Gabby, Arries, Sekhmet, Messah, Ja'Quan, Andre, Ja'zarii, Zyahna, Amiri, and ID; nephews Marcus Lindsey, Tommie Campbell, Samuel, Emanuel, and Timothy Willis, William, Annias and Jason Gaffney; nieces Latoya Lindsey,  Talesha Hill, Dawn Willis, and Mona Gaffney;  Special Aunts Mamie Walton,Maotha Jones, Union, South Carolina;  Special son James Dixon.  Devoted Friend of 65 years Jackie Royal.
