David L. Cole, Jr. passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024 surrounded by family and close friends. He was born on April 15, 1949, in Erie, PA, to the late David L. Cole, Sr. and Katherine T. Windham Cole.

David was employed by General Telephone Co., now known as Verizon, where he retired after more than 40 years of faithful service.

David enjoyed old school music, attending R&B concerts. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Chicago Blackhawks fan.

David served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era.

David leaves to cherish his memory his siblings, Diana Rollins(Eric), Janice Cole, William Cole(Carol), Varney Cole and Deborah Cole all of Erie PA. Nieces and nephews Diana Cole and  Aris Cole of Erie, Deborah Swanson Cole(Kenneth),Vine Grove, KY and  Rhonda Cole, Cincinnati, OH, William Cole of Washington, DC. One aunt Ruby Carver,W. Bloomfield MI and Godsister Yvette Williams Arrington of Erie. He was an honorary uncle to the family of the late Mrs. Gussie D. Williams.
