Obituary of Deacon David Harrison Frazier

Sunrise: June 14, 1941 – Sunset: November 24, 2022

Deacon David Harrison Frazier, 81 of Erie Pa, transitioned from this earthly life on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family and friends.  He was born on June 14, 1941 in Philadelphia PA to the late Charles Edward Frazier Sr. and Louise Smith Frazier.

He received his formal Education in Philadelphia, PA attendingSimon Gratz High School.  He furthered his education in Interior Design and Quality Control.

He relocated to Erie as a result of being transferred by General Electric of Camden, New Jersey to the Erie Plant. Following his employment with GE, he joined STERIS Corporation where he was employed until his retirement in 2003.

Deacon Frazier was a faithful member of Bread of Heaven Tabernacle of Faith.  He served this earthly Kingdom with devout ministration to his church as, Custodian, Pastor's Support Team member, President of the Usher Board, Trustee, Deacon, and wherever else he was called to serve.  He performed his work on this earth and offered service to his church for the greater honor and glory of God without hesitation and in the spirit of humility.

In addition to attend church services at his home church, he enjoyed listening to Bishop Gilbert E. Patterson on Sunday afternoons and Bishop J. Louis Felton on Wednesday nights.

He was a member of Gem City Lodge #328 IBOP Elks of the World.

He enjoyed watching baseball, basketball and football.  He was an avid fan of all sports Philadelphia especially the Philadelphia Eagle.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Charles Edward Frazier, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Elder Dorothy Smith-Frazier; one sister, Shelly Frazier of Philadelphia; fivechildren; Daveta Frazier Waldrop, Tasha Nole Frazier; David Nole Frazier (Tonya) all of Philadelphia, Muneera Bailor, and Charles Frazier III of Erie, nineteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; goddaughter - Annjerrica Prince-Hollis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, his Fraternal family and his Church family.

Friends may visit with the family at First Born Apostolic Faith Church of God, 1221 east 19 th Street, Erie PA on Saturday December 3, 2022, from 10am to 12pm where a Home GoingCelebration will immediately follow, with Bishop Clint Roberts, eulogist and Bishop James Hudson officiating. Interment will be at the Erie Cemetery.
