Obituary.

Dayon Raemoane Burrell, 25, departed this life on December 19, 2025. He was born on April 28, 2000, to Kweillin Thornton and Dwayne Burrell Sr.

Dayon was a proud graduate of Aliquippa Senior High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and memories. He was known for his love of basketball, his passion for music, and his keen sense of fashion. Dayon had a vibrant spirit and a presence that left a lasting impression on many he met. He enjoyed expressing himself through style and sound, and his energy and smile could light up any room.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Earlena Kirkland; paternal grandmother, Deborah Ann Burrell; paternal grandfather, Lorenzo Burrell; his uncle, Jaques Burrell; and his beloved brother, DVonte Jones.

In addition to his parents, Kweillin (Edward, Jr.) Thornton and Dwayne Burrell Sr., Dayon leaves to cherish his memory his maternal grandfather, James Kirkland; brothers, Dwayne Ramoane Burrell, Dior Adams and Cainan Patrick; sisters, Nyqueena Owens and A'Raiyah Burrell; godmother, Jodi Hemer; godbrothers, Devon Hemer, Jayvin Hemer, and Gavin Hemer; godsisters, Sarah Hemer, Brittany Hemer, Jahmya Grier, Dream Lawson, and Jaya Sparrow. He also leaves a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Dayon's life, though brief, was meaningful and impactful. He will be remembered for his individuality, his love for those close to him, and the memories he created that will live on through all who knew and loved him.
