DayQuan Rashaud Holloway, Sr., went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2020. He was born in Erie, PA on August 12, 1995 to Melissa Holloway and Michael Neavins.

He enjoyed dancing, writing rhymes, and spending time in the recording studio; however, his biggest joy was spending time with his family, especially his two young children. DayQuan was known for his fashionable style and his large sneaker collection. He also enjoyed football and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

DayQuan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Holloway; two aunts, Natasha Smith and Renae Hicks; and two uncles, Calvin Harper and Jarred Smith.

In addition to his mother, Melissa Holloway (Felipe Twillie) and his father, Michael Neavins (Kimmy), he leaves to cherish his memory, two children, Dae'ona Holloway and DayQuan Rashaud Holloway Jr.; two brothers, Michael D. Neavins, and Tayion "Kool Aid" Holloway; two sisters, Ta'Niyja Holloway and Myoni Twillie; seven uncles, Dwight Smith Jr. (Isela), Germal Smith, Demon Moffett, Kevin Neavins, Robert Neavins Jr., Willister House, and Monroe House; one aunt, CeAnya Smith-Jones (Jeffrey); one niece, Makenzie Walker; two nephews, Michael Neavins Jr., and Noah German; and two special great aunts, Ceola Smith and Annie Volk.

Calling hours are Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 901 East 5th Street, from 10:00 am 12:00 pm, where a funeral service will immediately follow. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery. Professional Arrangements entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.

All CDC guidelines will be followed including wearing masks, social distancing, and capacity limits.
