Diane 'Poochie' Wise

Diane "Poochie" Wise, 61, of Midland, walked into eternity on August 20, 2017, surrounded by family. Born February 15, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Hattie Mae Foster and O'neil Banks.

Throughout the years, she held several vocations, but her favorite was serving the children at Midland Elementary Middle School. She served in this capacity for four years.

She was known for her witty comments and her beautiful smile. She was always laughing and making someone laugh. She will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Effie Wise, and grandfather, John D. Wise.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Shawndelle Wise, Cassandra Wise and Roylin Petties III (Maria), all of Midland; her brothers, Anthony Foster, Robert Foster and Lamont Foster; her sisters, Lanice Foster and Casandra Foster; her grandchildren, Dejon Bradley, D'Kwan Wise, Darius Wise, Daejor Slappy, Alana Petties and X'Zayvier Salter; also four great-grandchildren; an aunt, Patricia Sallis, and two special cousins, Tina Kirby and Rick Sallis.

There will be no public viewing. A home going service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017, at The Holiness Church of Christ, 6349 Tuscarawas Road, Industry, Pa., with Rev. Leonard Carson officiating. Her son, Minister Roylin Petties, will deliver the eulogy.

The family would like to thank Dr. Palgutta and his staff for taking such good care of our mother. Also, Liberty Dialysis especially Kandy Brown, for all the laughter and fun. Finally, we would like to thank Heritage Valley Critical Care Unit for making her comfortable during her transition to glory.
