Doris Mae Ingram, 85, of Aliquippa, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 5, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, PA.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Hunter Sr. And Ellen Hunter-Fields. Doris was born May 1st, 1936 in Union, SC.

She had a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Before her health declined she was an active member of various churches in Aliquippa including Christian Lighthouse, Holy Temple, and a lifelong member of Ebenezer A.M.E church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest W. Ingram Sr. "Duce", brother Robert L. Hunter Jr., Sister Garnell (Sam) McClure, children Ernest W. Ingram Jr. and Karen F. Turner, and great granddaughter Nyema Simone Ingram.

She leaves to cherish her memories siblings John (Cecil) Fields and Sister-in-law Mary W. Hunter all of Aliquippa; sons Chris (Angela) Ingram of Aliquippa and Robert (Tracey) Ingram of Colorado. Devoted grandson and caretaker Ronald "Bub" Turner Jr., 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends including devoted friend Virginia Gordon.

The Ingram family will like to give a special thanks to LIFE Beaver County and Good Samaritan Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to our mother.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Pitts Funeral Home Aliquippa, PA. Viewing will be on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 6-8PM at Ebenezer AME Church, Davis St, Aliquippa were a Home going Service will be held also on Friday August 13, 2021, at 11AM with Pastor Reloy Gainey Officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
