Dwane Eugene Anderson, 73, of Aliquippa, peacefully passed away on March 14, 2021.  He was born August 10, 1947.

Dwane was a 1965 graduate of Aliquippa High School. He was an outstanding athlete and a master of the game of chess. He also founded the BF Jones Memorial Chess Club in 2013. He attended Youngstown State. He later secured employment with the County Assistance Office, as well as the old Greater Pittsburgh Airport of Allegheny County.

Dwane was preceded in death by his parents Vanella and Joseph Anderson, Dorothy Slaughter, Cleottis
Cary, Sr., his siblings; Michele and Steve Slaughter and Cleotis Cary, Jr., children; Joseph D. Anderson
and Tiwanda Bronaugh and grandson, Justin Simmons.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children; Victor Bronaugh (TX), Steven Simmons (Aliquippa),
Dwane Wells (NY), Omar Griffin, Sr. (Aliquippa), Amber and Antoinette Anderson (Aliquippa), siblings;
John and Maurice Cary (Aliquippa), Mary, Raymond and Tonia Cary Pelzer (MD), devoted family; Larry
Stokes (Aliquippa), Shantel Gipson (Aliquippa), Tommie Thompson (Aliquippa), Ronald Thompson
(FL), Myron Thompson (CT) and Donna Goatly (Beaver Falls), devoted friends; Ricky Kimbrough
(Aliquippa), James Dean, Sr. (Aliquippa), Charles Pitts, Sr. (Aliquippa), Eddie Hollins (Aliquippa) and
Jake Beta (Aliquippa).

There will be a repast immediately following the service at the Club at Shadow Lakes, 200 Beaver Lakes Blvd.,
Aliquippa.
