Ecclesiastes 3:1 and 2 says "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under Heaven.  There is a time to be born and a time to die.

On January 13, 2022 at 8:00 a.m., Edgar Jerome "Stumbles" Flowers departed this life.

Jerome was born on May 5, 1943 to the late Willie R. and Ruth D. Flowers in Aliquippa, PA.  He accepted Christ at a very early age and was baptized by Rev. Grant Roberts at Triedstone Baptist Church.  After graduating from Aliquippa High School, he joined the US Army and was stationed in  Seoul, Korea.  Upon discharge, he returned to Aliquippa for most of his life until his illness in 2019.

Cherishing his life and precious memories is his daughter Shannon Forbes of Aliquippa; son Shawn Dixon, Cleveland, Ohio; his brother, Rev. Alvin H. Flowers (Barbara) of Aliquippa, his sister Helen Ruth Flowers of Verona, a devoted nephew Andre M. Flowers (Olga) of Plum; and Alvin Flowers, Jr., Aliquippa; 3 nieces Tammi Flowers, Marissa Flowers, and Amber Thomas all of Aliquippa; 9 Great nephews, Eric (Ashley), Marquis (Sara), Darius, Aldair,  Tyrie, D'Von, Haetaun, Tristen, Justin;  2 Great Nieces, Jermaini and Alexis;  2 Great Great Nephews, Gustavo and Kingston;  1 Great Great Niece, Santina;  a very beloved cousin, Dianne Brock of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and cousin Doris Wilson of Sunshine, Louisiana, and his buddies, Obie Powell, Santa Ana, California, Raven Glenn of Lothian, Maryland and Charles Horton of Aliquippa, and a host of many other relatives, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jerome was preceded in death by his cousins Delores Wilson and Jacqueline Williams both of Sunshine, Louisiana.
