Edward (Jabo) Lewis Freeman was born on June 7, 1942, in Gadston, GA to Jessie Freeman and Mittie Ingram.

He was a member of Fellowship Methodist Church, where he was a Lay Minister, Trustee, and driver for the children to church and special events.  Ed worked as a Superintendent of the Town Towers.   If you needed something done, Ed was the man.  His hobbies were fishing, bowling and of course, the Steelers.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, son Daniel, sisters Helen, Patricia, and Evelyn; brothers Jessee and Leroy.  His legacy lives on in his son Anthony (Regina) Knowles; siblings, Marilyn Glen, Alice, Delores and William, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and god children.  Last, but not forgotten, his wife of 21 years Cynthia nee Carlisle and her family who loved him dearly.
