Eileen Roberta Jeter, age 77, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025.

Born on November 20, 1946, Eileen was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Earl Jeter and Betsy Turner. She was a proud graduate of Aliquippa High School and spent her life working hard and caring deeply for those around her. Over the years, she held many roles—including working in the mill, bartending, serving as a caretaker, and housekeeping—but her greatest dedication was to her family.

Eileen had a special love for working outside in her yard and found joy in cooking for those she loved. She was a strong, spirited woman who gave generously and lived with grace and resilience.

She is survived by her loving children: William, Doug, Robin, Ophelia, Albert, Stacey, and her son-in-law Vernon Johnson. She also leaves behind her siblings: Donna, Janice, Esther, and Jesse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betsy; her sister Carleen; her brother Daniel and Bobby; and her grandson Nazcere.

Eileen was the proud grandmother of 27 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Her legacy lives on in each of them.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Pitts Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31. Viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a small service. Eulogist for the service will be her granddaughter, Dalemieka Jeter.

Eileen's warmth, strength, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
