~~ Elder Donald "Donnie" Willis ~~
Sunrise October 28, 1950 – Sunset November 27, 2022


Elder Donald Willis went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 27, 2022.  Born to the late Earl and Evelyn Willis, he was raised in Aliquippa, PA.  He later met and married his lovely wife, the late Lee Norris Gaffney.  They we were united in marriage 47 years ago and members of The Church In The Round.

Together they began their spiritual journey through life, along with their children, family and friends proclaiming the name of Jesus their Lord and Savior.

Along with his life journey Donnie earned his GED and under the leadership of Bishop Melvin E. Clark, Sr. and Pastor Ulysses Evans he was ordained an Elder in The Church of God In Christ.  He loved Pastor Ulysses and Mother Claudette Evans, his natural family and friends (and his snacks and cookies).  He never met a stranger.

He will be missed by his family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, church family and friends.    He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters; Jessica (Ocie) Patrick, Aliquippa, PA, Dawn Willis, Houston, TX; four sons; Donnie (Deana) Jeter, Pittsburgh, PA, Timothy Willis, Kansas City, Missouri, Samuel (Tamika)Willis, Pearland, TX, Emmanuel (Jacqueline) Willis, Union. S.C.; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; Barbara Frey, State College, PA, Constance Walker, Aliquippa, PA, Norma Morris, Chester, PA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Mr. & Mrs. Earl Willis; wife, Lee Willis; son, Earl Willis; brothers, Earl Lee, Eddie Ray and Luther.
