Elliott Murray, Sr. of Ambridge, PA had his sunrise on April 27, 1964, in Aliquippa, PA, and his sunset on October 24, 2025, in Sewickley, PA. Born the seventh child of nine to the late Lester, Sr. and Polly Murray, Elliott was affectionately known as the "baby boy" among his siblings.

Elliott graduated from Ambridge High School in 1983 and went on to attend trade school, becoming a certified welder. His career took him to SMI Steel in Birmingham, AL, where he worked for many years before taking on various other roles until his physical health impacted his ability to work. From an early age, Elliott confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Aliquippa
(Logstown), PA.

Known as "the life of the party",  Elliott's comedic personality never failed to bring joy and laughter to those around him. However, his greatest and most cherished accomplishments were undoubtedly his three children, whom he lovingly referred to as "his babies."

Elliott joins his parents, Lester, Sr. and Polly Murray; his sister, Brenda Harvey; and his brother, Kenneth Murray, in eternal rest. He is survived by his beloved children, Elliott, Jr., Gabrielle, and Joshua, and his wife, Kimberly Murray, all of Birmingham, AL.  Additionally, he leaves behind his brothers, Lester, Jr. of Ambridge, PA, and Orlando (Beverly) of Philadelphia, PA; his sisters, Deborah Murray of Rochester, PA, Beverly Foy and Rosalind (Barry, Sr.) Jackson of Birmingham, AL, and Regina (Tony) Robinson of Naperville, IL; and numerous nephews and nieces, including Jason and Jonathan (Kiara) Harvey, Anthony (Sharmaine) Kimbrough, Rashad Murray, Adam Murray, Michael Murray, Barry Jackson, Jr.; and Farrah (Roy) Clanagan, Stephanie (Marcus) Barton, LaKeisha (Xavier, Sr.) Montgomery, and Janay Robinson. Elliott's legacy also lives on through his thirty great-nephews and nieces, two great-great-nephews, four aunts (Odell Holiday of Utica, MI, Equilla (James) Tabb of Aliquippa, PA, Pearl (Ulysse) Foster of Charleston, SC, and Ellen (Coot) Murray of Joliet, IL), one uncle (Robert (Viola) Murray), New Brighton, PA and a host of cousins and friends. He shared a particularly special bond with his cousins, affectionately referred to as "The Murray Girls"; Kimberly and Venita Murray, as well as his very close childhood friends, Andre Berry and Vaughn Wallace.
