Floyd William Sims, Jr. 21, of Ambridge, PA passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2025. Floyd was the son of Melody Jones and Floyd Sims Sr.

He was employed by Codo Manufacturing Corporation.

Known to his family and friends as "BIRD" he was a man of integrity. He was also a good and loyal friend and will always be remembered as being respectful & kind. Bird loved sports especially football where he played many years first for Ambridge and then transferred to Aliquippa under Coaches Warfield and Short among others where he was a part of the 2022 WPIAL championship!! He graduated in 2022 from his alma mater Aliquippa Senior High and went on to Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina. He was never picky and was always looking for food!! His favorite things to do was being in his room playing his video games with his snacks and just chillin'. He loved spending time at family cook outs and gatherings here at home & in Ohio at his Nana's house!!

Floyd leaves behind to cherish his memory his Mother Melody Jones, his Father Floyd Sims Sr.; Siblings Nyh'Juan (Giddy) Ross, Ta'Miah, Rishiah and Amir Sims; Maternal Grandmother Allison Jones; Paternal Grandmother Janet Sims; Paternal Grandfathers Floyd Hunter Sr., Antonio Sims Sr.; Special Aunt & Uncle India Sims and Antonio "AJ" Sims and Uncles Floyd "Punky" Hunter and Jalen Sims; Godparents Brittany Spears and Juan Ross.

Special friends: Miayohnna Reddick, Omar Banks, Karl McBride, Desaun Harmon, Vernon Redd Jr., Kahni Spears and a host of other relatives and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his Aunt Traci R. Jones.

If you were ever fortunate enough to have known Bird then you know he was a very special young man!!!
