Frances Townsend 84, of Aliquippa accepted a life of eternal peace on February 4th 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 16th, 1937 to the late Luther Gaston and Jeanette and Tommie Halley.

She was a graduate of Aliquippa High School where she later returned to work as parent patrol and a paraprofessional for many years. She was also a retiree of US Airways where she worked in reservations for 20+ years.

She is survived by her sons Caleb Gaston and Craydeen Townsend III (Kim), Minneapolis and daughter Patricia Gaston, Aliquippa. 1 Sister Valesta Jenkins, California. 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren who loved and adored their 'Grammy'. As well as an abundance of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special friends Gertis Hunter, Liz Lay, Clo Burden, JoLorriane Woods and Louise West.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Willie Gaston. Twin daughters Genell and Jeanette Gaston and a great granddaughter Ra'Jai Henderson.
