Geneva "Mother" Veney of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, was called home to glory on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Providence Care Center, in Beaver Falls, PA. She was born November 11,1928 to the Late Henry Parham and the late Hattie Luton.

She was a graduate of Aliquippa Senior High School. She was part of the Griffith Heights softball team, the Honey Dippers. She was employed by Westinghouse Electric as an assembly line worker.

Geneva received the Lord as her personal Savior, in 1960 and she walked with the Lord until she transitioned home to be with her Heavenly Father. She graduated from Hardy Bible School in 1995. She LOVED the Word of God, she LOVED teaching and sharing her vast knowledge about the Bible, she LOVED teaching her children about God, and she LOVED the Lord.

She was preceded in death by the passing of her sisters Margaret Saunders and Edith Sanford, her brother, JC Parham, and her daughter, Renee Surgest, and her grandson Justin R. Veney.

Geneva married the late Richard Veney in July 1954. They were blessed with 4 other children besides Renee, Draeva Dolores, Richard Jr., Lisa Maureen, and Erika Nicole Veney. She also has a legacy of 12 grandchildren, Marisa, Michelle and Glenn Surgest, Richard III, Alexis and Richelle Veney, Monique ,Eric, Gavin Veney and Talayna Devonshire, A'Marri Savage and Richard Austin Jones. She is also survived by 14 great -grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, a beloved cousin Gloria Pope, a special niece, Marilyn James, and three sisters-in law June Wallace, Lois Pitts and Freda Crawford.

She wanted the world to know that she was a Holy Woman of God , with Holy Hands and that as for her and her house, her prayer was "we will serve the Lord!".
