George A. Saunders "Tony:

SUNRISE: MAY 11, 1955       SUNSET: MARCH 8, 2023

On Wednesday March 8, 2023, George A. Saunders "Tony" 67, was called home to join family who preceded him in death. He follows his father; George G. Saunders, mother; Helen E. Ellman Saunders, brother: Leonard A. Saunders, sister; Deborah A. Williams, daughter; Antonia Williams and son; Benjamin Davis.

He is survived by his children; Nia Lucas, Pittsburgh, PA, Cassaundra Johnson, Erie, PA, George/Natashia Saunders, Erie, PA, Catriel Lucas, Erie, PA and Jamaya Moore, Cincinnati, OH. Surviving siblings are Mark/Lori Saunders, Richmond, VA, Lisa/Kevin Cummings Sr., Chesterfield, VA, Gloria Shotwell, Charlotte, NC and Norman G. Saunders, Charlotte, NC. He has a host of beloved grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins with a special note to Thomas Saunders (Buster) for always being there.

Tony graduated from Tech Memorial high school with an academic scholarship and participated in several sport activities. He could play some instruments while mastering the art of calligraphy also including drawing and signage artistic talent. George was charismatic, loved dancing and being the center of attention on the dance floor. He lived his life his way and was called by the Almighty when it was done.
