Geraldine Marsh, 82, of Erie, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024.  She was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Cecil H and Lillie Mae Ferguson.  Geraldine was a long-time member of Superior Emmanuel Church of God in Christ.  She was an extraordinary woman who loved God.  She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending quality time with her family, cooking, and playing Bingo. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Marsh, Sr, brothers Sunny, Robert, Jessie, Willie Earl and George Lee.

She leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Leroy and Frankie Lee, both of Laurel, MS, seven children - Mary, Robert (Christina), Jessie, Barbara, Lillie, Katrina, and Oscar.  Sixteen grandchildren - Rashelle, Carlos, Lashika, Gerie, Chaz, Brandon, RJ (Robert James), Noah, Luke, Jelsha, Lasheena (whom she raised), DeShawn, Seth, Micah, Mitchell, Diamond and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Friends may visit the family at Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, Erie PA, on Thursday, October 31 from 11am to noon, where a home going celebration of life service will immediately follow with Elder J. Omar Clea eulogizing. The interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery.  Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home.
