Henry Tom House, 80, of Erie, PA, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020.  He was born on June 30, 1940 in Heidelberg, MS to the late Robert Lee House and Mammie Dase House.

Growing up he was a faithful member and Deacon of Shady Grove Baptist Church and drove the South Side High School Bus.

After meeting the love of his life, he moved and lived in Erie, PA with his wife of 57yrs, Mrs. Helen Joyce (Walker) House and (5) children, Kimberly (Onesimus) Green, Talberly (Patriece) House, Trenia (House) Woods, Chemba (House) Loman, and Zoe House.

He worked and retired from General Electric as a Crane Operator and also a Jitney Driver. After his retirement he drove the Community Country Day School Bus.

As one of the founding members of Mount Ebal Missionary Baptist Church, he was very active as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent and teacher, the Church bus driver and a member of the Men's Gospel choir. His favorite song was "I Love the Lord, He Heard My Cry!"

During his favorite pastime, he loved being with family, helping other people and working, barbecuing, gardening, hunting, fishing, playing softball, bowling and was a very dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by (2) brothers, Sammie House and John Henry House; (2) sisters, Jessie Lee (House) Jones-Ducksworth and Ethel Lee (House) Bradford; (2) nephews, Clarence House and Troy Anthony House; and (1) God-daughter LaQula Walker.

He leaves to cherish in his memories, a loving wife, (5) children, (3) sisters, Nora Lee Bridges, Jimmie Ruth House, and Shirley Mae House; (1) brother Adam (Donnie) House; (10) grandchildren, Tapedaque House, Clarence Jennings Jr., Nikkarra Davis, Donovan Woods, Talberly House Jr, Darrion (Briana) Woods, Talquan House, Talnisha Jenson, Natricia House, and Talberlyn Green; (8) great grandchildren, Christian Richardson, Lalani Davis, Kyle Robinson, Kyson House, Landen Davis, Chase Davis, Meilani Jensen and Jalen Woods; (3)God children, Sara Crosby, John Crosby, and Tyla Williams; a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews; cousins and many other family members and friends.
