Ida Mae Stanton, 58 transitioned from labor to reward Monday, January 20, 2020, in the comfort of the home of her sisters Tonia Stanton and Amanda Jackson Stanton, Verona, PA.

Ida was known for Afro-centric and unique style. Ida is the daughter to the late Vera Mae Crawford and Isaac Blanks and the stepdaughter to Will Crawford, Sr. Ida was a graduate of Saint Benedict Academy in 1979, and received an Associate Degree from Community College at Allegheny, Allegheny PA.

Ida was an avid reader (the Bible was her favorite book), Fashionista, and a Lover of Prince. Ida loved make-up and was known for her creative style of dressing and LOVED jewelry. Ida was intrigued by the Word of God, she was truly a Bible Scholar. In Sunday school she would rightly divide the word of truth with her eloquent soft spoken voice. Ida was Afrocentric in beliefs and dress.

Ida worked for High- Mark Blue Cross, CVS while in Pittsburgh and Agility in Erie, PA. Ida was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church when she returned home to Erie, PA for a brief stay.

Ida leaves to cherish her memory one daughter N'dea Raelynne Toliver, one grandson Antonio Toliver and a grandchild in waiting. She also, leaves two sisters Patricia (Ricky) Steele of Erie, Tonia Stanton (Amanda Jackson Stanton) of Verona, Pa and Bishop Designate Danny L. (Elaine) Stanton Erie PA, Winnie Leggett, Joe (Mary) Blanks of Erie, PA, Billy (Tomoko) Blanks, Raymond, Charles, Willie Blanks, Thelma (Norris) Howard, Stevie, Kenny, Irene, David, Marie, John and Michael Blanks, Will Crawford III, Carolyn Williamson, Lamont Crawford and Johnnie Lee and a special cousin Norma Larkin, three nieces Courtney Nicole Stanton, Columbus, OH, Kymerah and Kyhania Jackson of Verona, PA two nephews Daniel Lee Stanton and Richard Steele all of Erie and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may visit with the family at Friendship Baptist Church, 1719 Cascade St., Erie, PA, on Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 11 am to 1pm, where a home going celebration will immediately follow with Bishop Designate Danny Stanton eulogizing.
