Isaac William "I.W. or Double" Gray passed away unexpectedly on March 30 ^th 2022. I.W. was born July 10 ^th, 1924 in Sylvania, GA to the late Silas Gray and Corine Sheffield.

Isaac didn't really get the chance to receive much education as to where he had to start working at a very young tender age to help provide for his family and siblings. Later on in life he met his wife Gladys and they became as one and married on January 28 ^th 1950, where they had started their own little family and later relocated to Erie, PA in 1964, He received a job at General Electric and is where he also retired.

I.W. was later baptized in 2006 in South Carolina, he enjoyed going out in the field service, he loved talking about Jehovah and sharing God's word, he also liked telling jokes, telling stories from back in his day and long sits in the park, watching his western movies and was very well known for wearing his cowboy hats so everyone called him "Cowboy". He really loved spending time with his extended family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Gray, six brothers and five sisters, two sons Edward and Douglas Gray and one great great grandson Desmon Roberts Jr.

I.W. leaves to cherish his only daughter Mattie Appling, 1 sister Irene Doe, 1 brother Clayton Burgess, 7 grandchildren, Suprena Gray Hawkins (Roosevelt), Freddie Gregory Jr, Radell Gregory (Kim) Juanita Gregory all from Erie, PA. Crystal Moore, Latoya Gray and Angela Gray, 2 step grandchildren Felicia and Damien Moore all from Statesboro, GA. 31 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren. A special son-in-law Freddie Gregory Sr. and daughter-in-law Grace Gray both of Erie PA a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews' family and friends

IW and Gladys Gray both have now departed this world after being married for 70 years. He had been blessed to live a long prosperous life and will be dearly missed by us all and we will forever hold tight onto our memories of him and his favorite saying "Whooo Doggie".
