James A. "Blackjack" Arrington was called home on October 18, 2024 at home with his family. He was born May 5, 1937, in Quitman, Mississippi to Emma Jean Arrington and Booker T Arrington. James was a steel worker and worked for EMI until retiring after over 30 years of employment; After retirement James enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards and playing bingo. James was also an avid Steelers fan.

James was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, R.C. Arrington; three sisters, Selma Lee Kitchen, Hattie Johnson and Beatrice McCray; two sons, James Wall and Fermondo Arrington; a daughter, Zelma Wall and stepson, Lonnie Wall.

To Cherish his memory, James leaves behind the love of his life, Anna L. Wall; two brothers, Willie B. Arrington and Johnny B. Arrington; two sons, William Wall(Ebony) and Robert Earl Jones; stepchildren, Debra Wall(Ray), Prince Mobley(Melissa), Larry Wall(Tonya), Raymond Wall and daughter Vanessa Carr.

James leaves behind a special granddaughter and grandson, his " cupcake" Shenell Stepp(Danny) and Jimmy " Rell Rell"Wall, who cared for him along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
