James 'Jimmy' Alford McCants

James "Jimmy" Alford McCants, 70, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 3, 2019.
Jimmy was born October 2, 1948, in Aliquippa, the son of the late, Thelma and Will Motton Jr.
Jimmy was a jack of all trades and thrived at everything he did. Sports, baking cakes and fishing are all things he enjoyed doing, but barbecuing with family and friends he enjoyed the most. He loved cars and was an awesome mechanic.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma "Ma Pete" Humphries; son, Thomas William McCants; brothers, Will Motton, Arthur Motton, Ralph Motton and Darryl Hendon and his nephew, Will Vaughn Motton III.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Smith; his daughter, Tammy McCants; brothers, Will "Billy" (Veda) Motton, Allen Harris and Terry (Marcella) Brown; a sister, Tracy Motton; his loving grandchildren, Chantel (Chris) Hillman, Tierra, Naijah and Tommy McCants, Aushae and Ashari Adamson; twelve great-grand
children and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
