Ja'Nay La'Shawn Stewart, age 34, of Aliquippa, PA, daughter of Kim La'Shawn Washington and Johnny Bernard Stewart peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday January 13, 2020 at Montifiore Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Ja'Nay, affectionately known as "Nay Skee" was born on March 13,1985 in Sewickley, PA. Ja'Nay loved to sing and dance, and like her grandmother, the Late Ruth Washington, Janay was a great cook. She enjoyed cooking for everyone, family and friends. Most of all, she cherished "hanging out" with her children, baking cookies and doing crafts. Ja'Nay's children were her absolute heart.

Ja'Nay graduated from Hopewell High School and attended the Beaver Falls Beauty Academy for cosmetology.  She had so much style and the posture of a true Diva.

Ja'Nay was preceded in death by her daughter, Khauri Mo'Nai Redd and her Grandparents, the late Jettie and Ruth Washington and the late Lillian Wilma Mike and Wallace Blocker.

Left to fulfill her Legacy are: A daughter, Ka'Mahney Jaide Redd, A son, Khy My'Kel Redd, her mother, Kim " Shawney" Washington, her father Johnny  Stewart. Her maternal siblings, brother, Ja'Mar Washington and her sister and "best friend" Jazmin Stewart.  Also, her paternal siblings, Demond, Tiffani, Shareif, Amethyst, Antwonee, Sydney, Matius, Johnny Jr. and a special sister, Monique Vaughn.

Ja'Nay also leaves four special friends: Amber Lindsey, Da'Juan Lay, Iasha Sellers, Cherelle Carter and a wonderful host of other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
