Jean H. Desire, born May 4, 1958 in Port Au Prince, Haiti to Rosette Marie Batrony and Anthony Desire.

In February 1966, Jean came to the United States where he furthered his education at Brandeis High School and Bronx Community College. Jean spent his time growing up in the famous Polo Ground Towers in Harlem, NY, where he was known for being the first person in the neighborhood to own a Lincoln Versailles. Jean had an array of great friends who he brought great joy to and was well respected amongst all.

Later in life, Jean moved to Aliquippa, PA, where he met and married the love of his life LaNita. It 's here they continued to live a happy life raising their son, Niko. Jean joined and became a faithful member of Christian Lighthouse Ministries of Aliquippa under the leadership of Pastor Lucas T. Boxley where he served on the Pastor's Aide Committee and was known throughout the community as "Brother Jean". Brother Jean worked diligently as the Office Manager of the Pitts Funeral Homes under the direction of his friend and proprietor Mr. Antonio Pitts.

Jean is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Desire, brother, Joseph Anthony Desire, niece, Christina Marie Theodule, and Mother & Father in Law Mary E. and Johnnie Hill Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife LaNita, son Niko Desire, mother, Rosette Marie Batrony, brother, Rodrigue Desire, sisters, Marie F. Theodule, Anthonina R. Desire Mouhcine (Mohsin), stepchildren Ryan Clark Jr. (Rachel), Tiana Clark, special nieces Lenora Jackson and Melissa R. Theodule, nephews Raymond P. Fleming, Johnathan A. and Jeremy J. Desire, Rayan Desire Mouchcine, grandchildren Ryan Clark Jr. and Rylee Clark, brother in law Johnnie Hill Jr. and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
