Jesus said to her, ''I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live." John 11:25

And with this promise and assurance, Jeniel peacefully transitioned into the arms of her Savior on Thursday, April 17th, 2025.

Jeniel Marie (Green) Gant was born November 10,1965 to the late Rev. Jesse Green, Sr. and Mother Lottie Mae (Tivis) Green. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Jon Gant, and her eldest sister, Janet S. Jones. Jeniel will forever reside in the hearts of her mother, brother, Deacon Jesse Green, Jr. (Debra) and sister, Deaconess Katie (Green) Chisom.

Jeniel was a loving mother of one beautiful, extraordinary daughter, Kortney Cheniel Gant and one handsome, loving grandson, Jesstin Vicai Gant who was her "heart!"

Jeniel was a 1983 graduate of Lincoln Junior-Senior High School of Midland, PA.After high school she attended the ICM School of Business, Pittsburgh, PA graduating with Honors in Business Administration.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on," "blessed indeed" says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!" Revelation 14:13

Jeniel was employed with the Prevention Project of Beaver County. She was an employee of the Beaver County District Court 36-2-02 for over 30 years under the supervision of District Magistrate Martin Schulte and later with Magistrate Timothy Finn. Jeniel was Office Manager under Magistrate Finn until her retirement in June 2021.

Jeniel was a founding member and President of the West End RenaissanceCommittee a nonprofit organization whose mission is to revitalize the West End of Midland. Through her leadership a vast number of blighted properties were razed and several community flower gardens were planted throughout the area.

Jeniel was a member of the First Baptist Church of Midland/Beaver, where she faithfully ministered with her melodious and spirit filled voice. She served as the Director of the United Voices of Harmony youth choir, soloist for the Voices of Praise and Echoes of Harmony choir and current Director of the Mass Choir.Jeniel was a member of Sisters in Service Missionary and the Women's Ministry. She shared her God-given vocal gift both near and far, yet she remained humbleand willing to spread God's word through song. In addition to her singing, she found joy in the decorating and organizing of special events.

Jeniel's memory will be cherished by a special Aunt, Cornelia Cook, Lakeland, FL; Cousin, Deacon Linwood Tivis, East Liverpool, OH; Brother-in-law: Robin Gant, Leavenworth, KS; Sister-in-law:Vickie Gant, Nieces: Gaylynn and Shana Jones, Brionne Carroll, Tyleeta McPherson; Nephews: Shaye and Arnold Jones, Jr.; bonus mom: Gertrude Dawson; devoted friends: Judy and Ayanna Williams, Andrea Lewis, Marquetta Hosey, Cheryl Dawson-Williams, Deacon Anthony Whitted, and Donald Nash(cousin); bonus son: Nolan Harmon, Greensboro, NC; lifelong friends: Chevonne Tookes, Levie Kirkland, and Anthony Foster; God daughters: Monique Sawyer, Reagan Williams and Madison Dawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
