Jerome Cowart, born July 13, 1948, age 76, of 121 Christy Drive Monaca, PA departed this life and was called home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2024. He was the oldest of two children born to Clarence Cowart and Jewel Lula Davis. He spent his childhood in the Plan 11 section of Aliquippa, PA. Jerome was a graduate of Aliquippa High School Class of 1965 and went on to receive a degree at Columbus State Community College, Columbus, Ohio. He began his career with Sears in their men's clothing department as one of their top salesman. He then accepted a managerial position with General Motors Corporation and was with the company and its subsidiaries until he retired in 1998. He met and married Carol Lacks and moved his family to Columbus Ohio.

Like most "Quippians" Jerome was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and he could be found watching the game in season practically in any city he happen to be. He could always be found washing and waxing his car. He was a very popular guy and a Bourbon aficionado. In his later years he began to consider his need to draw closer to God and received Christ as his personal Savior.

Jerome is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David Cowart, Youngstown, OH, Richard Hall Sr., Pittsburgh, PA, Jeremiah Hall Sr., Washington, PA, Robert Hall, Aliquippa, PA, sister, Sharon Hall, Monaca, PA, aunt, Artie Sly, Aliquippa, PA, and nephew, Robert Louis Jackson Jr. Baltimore, MD.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Aisha Prielozny (Petr) Czech Republic, Jessica Grimes (Bradley) Zanesville, OH, son, Bakari Cowart (Amy Heather) Arlington, VA, Sister, Rita Cowart-Jackson, Aliquippa, PA, brothers, Clifford Hall, Jr. Brooklyn, NY, Cordale Hickman Hall, Pittsburgh, PA, Forrest Hall Sr. ( Sylvia) Upper Marlboro, MD and Gordon Foster Hall, Monaca, PA, many grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: October 25, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the First Church of God in Christ, "Church in the Round" 784 Griffith Street at Woodrow St. Aliquippa, PA. Homegoing Service: Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 am at the First Church of God in Christ, Church in the Round, Bishop Bernard Wallace presiding and Bishop Moreland, officiating.
