Jewel Lula Davis Hall

She departed this life and was called home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2024.  She was born September 15, 1932, in Aliquippa, PA. Jewel was the third of 10 children born to Robert Nathaniel and Tina Viola (nee Russell) Davis.

Her husband, Clifford Hall, Sr. was a veteran of U S Army, having served in World War II. Clifford and Jewel raised their children in the Plan 7 section of Aliquippa, affectionately known as "The Hollow". Mother Jewel was known affectionately as Miss Jill by her neighbors. Mr. Cliff and Miss Jill provided love, support, and comfort to many of their neighbors, family and friends and were committed and loving parents to their children.

Jewel was a member of the First Church of God in Christ, Church in the Round, under the late Bishop Melvin E. Clark Sr. as pastor. Mother Hall has served on many auxiliaries and at the time of her death served on the Mother's Board.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Hall, Sr., both parents, sisters; Rose Davis, Aliquippa, Delores Davis-Burton, Beaver Falls, PA, Viola "Addie" Davis- Watkins, Aliquippa, Loretta Davis-Gaines, Greensburg, PA and Dorothy Louise Davis, Aliquippa, brothers; Robert Davis Jr., Aliquippa, Kenneth Davis, Aliquippa and Melvin Davis, Aliquippa, Sons; Jeremiah Hall Sr., Washington, PA, Richard Hall, Sr. Pittsburgh, PA and Robert Hall, Aliquippa, PA, Grandsons; Robert Louis Jackson, Jr., Baltimore, MD and Jeremiah Hall Jr., Pittsburgh, PA.

She leaves to cherish her memory: a sister, Carol "Penny" Davis-Freeman, Aliquippa, PA, daughters; Rita Marie Cowart-Jackson (Robert Louis Sr.) and Sharon Tina Hall, both of Aliquippa, sons; Jerome Cowart, Columbus OH, Clifford Hall, Jr., Brooklyn, NY, Cordale Hickman Hall, Pittsburgh, PA, Forest Scott Hall, Sr. (Sylvia Hall), Upper Marlboro, MD, and Gordon Foster Hall, Aliquippa, a host of
loving grands to great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and adoring saints and friends.
