Jo Ann Brown (Stewart) entered this life on June 19, 1948 as the second child of Joseph and Virginia (Sandifer Griffith) born in Macon, Georgia.  A TRUE GEORGIA PEACH.

Jo Ann spent her primary years in the South
With her beloved sister Betty Jo. At the age of five and six they migrated to Detroit Michigan. Jo Ann attended Central High School with the likes of Diana Ross and other up and coming stars of that Era.
Jo Ann was a STAR in her own right.
Upon Graduation she enlisted into the US ARMY where she began her illustrious career in administration. After completing her assignment she received an Honorable Discharge. Upon completion of service, Jo Ann met and married the Love of her life Edward C. Stewart  to this blessed union one daughter was born.  Niccole Stewart of Midland Pa.  JoAnn achieved what many can only aspire to accomplish. Her 35 year career as an Executive Secretary for the Late Mayor Coleman A. Young of Detroit Michigan.  A Senior Medical Transcriptionist for The Detroit Medical Center,  Metropolitan Hospital Transcriptionist, as well as a Court Stenographer.  JO could type 190 wpm without error! Yes Brains and Beauty Too!  Upon moving to PA in 2001 she became employed with ATM of Moon Twp PA. Retired shortly there after.

To know Ms. Jo is to love Ms Jo...she loved everyone and talked to EVERYBODY.

Joseph Brown of Redford Michigan (Bee Bee) 1 Daughter Niccole Stewart of Midland PA. 2 Grandsons Lamorris and Edward, 2 Grandaughters Lorielle and Omotola, and Great Grandaughters Eleanor Grace and Nova Leigh. 1 Niece Casey and 3 Nephews Nolan, David, and Reginald.

She is preceeded in death by Mother Virginia, Husband Edward , and Sister Betty Jo June 1st 2023...Death couldn't keep you two apart. MOST IMPORTANTLY MY MOTHER ACCEPTED JESUS AS HER PERSONAL SAVIOR AT A VERY EARLY AGE.
SHE IS RESTING IN HIS LOVING CARE. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN ILL SEE YOU THERE. LOVE YOU GRAMMY!!!!
