John Eric Cary, affectionately known as "Johnny, 20/20 or 20", departed this life on June 21, 2023, after calling the medics due to
difficulty breathing. He had several health challenges but was determined to beat them and live life to the fullest.

John was the third child born to Cleottis and Winthlee Cary on May 1, 1963, in Aliquippa, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Cleottis and Winthlee Cary. His grandparents, two brothers, Dwane Anderson and Cleottis, Jr., nephew Joseph, and a niece,
Tiwanda. He leaves to cherish his memories four siblings, Mary Cary, Raymond Cary, and Tonia Pelzer (Alex), all of Maryland, and Maurice Cary of Aliquippa, PA. One sister-inlaw, Leesa Simmons (Aliquippa). Nieces and nephews, Victor, Steven, Dwane, Omar, Amber, Antoinette, Omar S., Tyeisha, Brandy, RaeShawn, Jamil, Shomari, Isaiah, Aaliyah, Talaina, Shekinah, Moriah, Maurice Jr., Mathias, Charissa, Kyah-Ashley, Morgan, and Makayla, several great nieces and great nephews; one uncle, Melvin Morrisette, Sr, close cousins Andrea Cary and Lynn Morrisette; his beloved pit bull Zeus, and a host of cousins and very close friends.

John attended the Aliquippa Public Schools and graduated from the Aliquippa Senior class of 1981. After High School, he attended "the
Morgan State University "and was a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. He had several occupations, but entrepreneurship was his passion. He had many talents and interests and loved sports, social activism, and family. He loved photography and enjoyed life. His view of the world was captured through his lens, especially our culture.
