John Butch Eldridge Fletcher Sr, 58, returned to his heavenly home on
February 11, 2019, after a short illness. His devotion to his family and his
firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him
peace.
John was born to the late Deacon Pop Eldridge Fletcher and Mother ADA
MAE Fletcher. John was an intelligent hard working man that loved his
family. His hard work helped him receive a full football scholarship at
Southern Illinois University. John received an associate degree from the
Community College Beaver County in Criminology. He continued his
education at Pitt University were he receive his Bachelor Degree in Social
Worker. He followed that with his honor Master Degree in Drug & Alcohol
at Liberty University. After received his degree, John started his career at
Holy Family Institute where he was a child therapist for 10 years.
In 2008, John became a certified chef and was the co-owner and head chef
of Sherise Catering Services. John was a phenomenal writer he has written
several plays and poems that have been seen across the United States.
John was a machine operator while living in Montpelier Ohio.
John was blessed with a large and loving family. He was married to his best
friend Shirley Willis Fletcher and they had five children together, Charlotte,
Marie, Desiree, John Jr and Nicole aka Miracle.
John is survived by daughter Nicole and her husband, Willie Coleman of
Center Township. Mark Fletcher of West Virginia. John Fletcher III of
Aliquippa PA Madison Fletcher and Derrek Fletcher both of Center
township. Adopted daughter Daniela Gilbert of Aliquippa PA, Shirley Willis
Fletcher of Center Township PA and God Mother Luverda Parker of
Aliquippa, Pa. He has two adopted sisters Rena Cobb living in High Point,
