John Lee Raines, Jr. (Jun Jun'), 65, a longtime resident of Aliquippa, passed on Wednesday, October 23 2019.

John was born August 16, 1954, in Rochester, a son of the late John Lee Raines, Sr. and Rever DeEster Raines.

In addition to his parents, John was receded in death by his brother, Steve Raines and sister, Debra Ann Raines Evans.

John retired from J&L Steel where he worked for over 20 years as a crane operator and served as a union representative. He was well known and loved his community tremendously.

He is survived by his wife, Makeba Raines; children, Michael and Felicia, Kaya and Bre'l Raines; stepchildren, Jamar Shegog, Antonio Rodgers and India, Elona, Kijana, and Chynna Lowe grandchildren; Alante, Kwantel, Michael, Shaquere , Kayla, Jade and Mykail, greatgrandchild; Zion; fIve sis-

ters; Elder Cynthia Hill, Queen Ester Raines Horton, Marcella and Adriana Raines, Patricia Hammock and Lisa Sheppard; four brothers, James Morman, Kelvin, Minister Melvin E. and HoIden Jerome Raines and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
