Jon Pierre Silva aka Boogie, 37, of Erie, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was born on October 21, 1984 in Erie, PA to Paul Christopher Silva Sr. and Roise Lee Booker.

Jon was a member of Believers International Worship Center.

After graduating high school Jon attended Gannon University.

He worked at Harborcreek Youth Services and Moravia Health.

Jon has a passion for singing, poetry, basketball, pool and boxing, along with spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ralph Brown, grandmother – Millie Frost and cousin Johnny Booker.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother - Roise Lee Booker; father - Paul Christopher Silva Sr.; significant other -  Dabreia Evans; Children – Jonijah, Dayvion, Delliano, and Delano; brothers – Paul Christopher Silva Jr., Noble A. Silva, Asante Silva, Donavan G. Silva, Sonome Jackson, Messiah Hassan, Brionna Hassan, and Ilov Hassan; stepmother – DayatraHassan Silva; grandmother – Merlene Silva; uncles – James Booker, Sid Booker, John Booker, Richard Booker, and Greg Silva; aunts – Josephine Martin, Nattie Dye, Annie Daniels, Diane, May, Lue; special cousin – Dale Booker; friends – Anthony and John Blanks, and George Tunstall.

Friends may visit with the family at Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 3pm – 5pm, where a home going celebration will immediately follow, with Pastor Paris Baker eulogizing. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home.
