Joyce Olivia Dunn Jordan, 61 of Marietta Georgia, formerly of Erie, crossed into the heavenly realm on June 4, 2019 after battling with health issues over the past few years. She was born in Erie, PA, on October 3, 1957, to Clinton and the late Birdie Mae O'Neal Dunn.

Joyce was a resident of Erie Pennsylvania for 55 years; she spent her last six years residing in Marietta, GA.

Joyce graduated from Twin Tech High School in 1978 and then went on to join the Job Core in Pittsburgh PA for Nursing Aid. She was employed with EIH and then went on to be employed by Plastek Industry for over ten years. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church under the guidance of Rev. Allen B. Green. She recently joined Mt. Zion AME in Marietta GA.

Joyce was an amazing wife for 28 years, a superb loving mother to her children and many others who considered her as a second mother, a wonderful big sister who they all considered their protector that brought and kept the families together. Her siblings considered her to be so much more than their sisters, she was their second mom. She was the hostess with the mostess! (BIG MOMMA) She was so full of life and brought life and love to everyone she was around and encountered! She had a very infectious smile that would just put a smile on your face. She enjoyed being a mother first and foremost, cooking, shopping especially Walmart daily, going to outdoor events/ concerts, gardening, playing cards, personal crafts for her home. She was a die heart Buffalo Bills fan.

In addition to her father, Joyce's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her beloved husband, Curtis Jordan of Marietta GA; three wonderful children, Derrick Dunn, Teyona Dunn (Keso) of Marietta GA; and Brandon Dunn of Erie Pa.  One grandson, Alijia Hewitt; Six siblings, Dorris O'Neal (Terena) of Erie PA, Clinton D. Dunn (Stacy) of Marietta, GA, Beverly Cajuste (Tommy), Brenda Woodard (Dave), Jackie Dunn of Erie PA., Yolanda Dunn (Orean) of Marietta GA., and Demitta Miller of Erie PA; her Best Friend, Germaine Williams of Erie PA; dear friend of the family Marcus Marshall of Jackson, TN.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may visit with the family at Second Baptist Church, 757 East 26 ^th Street, Erie, PA, on Thursday, June 13, 2019, from 10 am to 12 pm, where a home going celebration will immediately follow with Rev. Lamont Higginbottom Sr. eulogizing and Rev. Darrold A. Hobson officiating. Interment will be private. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Avenue, Erie, PA 16504.
