Juanita Brown Carr, age 64, passed away Wednesday August 2, 2023 at LECOM Health Institute for Successful Aging.

She was born in Hattiesburg Mississippi on May 31, 1959, daughter of the late Lonzo J. Brown and Bernice Cooley Brown.

Juanita was a graduate of Community Country Day School. She worked as a nurse's aide at Alpine Manor for over 20 years. She enjoyed knitting, listening to gospel music, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Besides her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Clyde Brown , Danny Ray Brown, and Luke Jackson and six sisters, Pamela Brown, Della Brown, Ruth Ann Williams Brown, Venessa Brown, Elaine Brown Copeland, and Laurice Jackson-Stovall.

She leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Elizajah Brown (Sarah) and Isaiah Brown; a daughter Tia Brown; a brother Charles Brown (Armenta); many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
