Born on July 3 ^rd 1937 in Birmingham, Alabama to Katrina Paul (Mother) and Joseph Paul (Father). She was raised in Birmingham, Alabama until she relocated to Erie, Pennsylvania with her parents. She leaves to cherish her husband of over 30 years Grover "Boo" Beason.

Kennetha is preceded in death by her Mother, her Father, her only sibling Kenneth J. Paul Sr. "Kenny Jo" and his wife Betty A. Paul, Kenneth "Stitches" Ellis (Oldest Son), George Steven McLaurin (2 ^nd Oldest Son), Glenn Lyons (Youngest Son) and her niece Keslyn Paul. She is a Mother of 11 (8 Boys and 3 Girls).

She is survived by 8 of her children; Anthony Paul (Cynthia), Stacy Dunn (Clinton), Darrell Lyons, Eric Lyons, Deirdra Caldwell (Rodrick), Tiffany Lyons, Grover Lyons and Terrance Lyons, along with 4 stepchildren; Larnice Massey, Maurice Troop, Ato Troop and Jarrian Troop.

23 Grand children, a host of Great Grand children and Great Great Grand children; Nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and special friends. She leaves behind 4 beautiful and growing generations.

She retired from General Electric in 1996. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, reading her romance novels.  She also loved to relax and watch football and basketball. She loved to travel to Atlanta to visit her daughter, and grandchildren. She loved to come watch her grandsons play Friday night football in the south. She was always there when someone needed her. She had a beautiful spirit and will be greatly missed.

Friends may visit with the family at Greater Bethlehem Temple, 4103 Washington Ave, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10 am – 12 pm, where a home going celebration will immediately follow, with Pastor Joyce Moses eulogizing. Interment will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, Erie, PA  16503.
